Paul and Jimmy Watson will put brotherly love aside tonight when Albion Reserves and Sidley United clash at Gullivers.

It will be the first time the duo have met in a competitive game and there has been plenty of banter between the pair.

Paul's normal role for Albion is fullback but his last outing for the reserves saw him play in central midfield. A repeat of that role would bring him into direct competition with Jimmy, who plays there as skipper for Sidley.

Jimmy, 33, said: "I have told Paul to wear his shinpads but he's told me I won't get anywhere near him."

Paul, 29, said: "There have been a few calls between us but we have agreed a phone blackout before the match. This is the first time we will have played against each other since we kicked around in the back garden."

Reserve team boss Dean White is an ex-Sidley player and his son Ben plays for the County League division one outfit, however, an ankle injury will prevent him trying to make it an uncomfortable night for his dad.

Sidley co-manager Andy Laskey said: "We are the underdogs but we have a chance and that's what I'll be telling the players."

Nathan Jones and Dean Hammond, second half substitutes at Ipswich last Saturday, feature for Albion.
