As an ex-service person, I have always been extremely proud of our Union Jack Flag but have noticed it referred to in recent times and at varying ceremonies as simply the Union Flag.
I would like to know what has happened to the Jack.
Who authorised the dropping of the word and why?
Does anybody know?
