A Sussex brewer is getting into the festive spirit by rolling out the barrels of special Christmas-themed real ales.
Welton's Brewery, based in Foundary Lane, Horsham, has a range of three distinctive pints perfect for the holiday season.
Horsham Hog's Pudding is the latest to be developed and was launched last week. According to brewer Ray Welton, the 5.6 per cent ale is not for the faint-hearted.
The ale continues a tradition at Welton's for well-flavoured, dark red, unusually named beers aimed at Christmas drinkers.
Together with Hoppy Christmas (3.7 per cent) and Wenceslegless (4.6 per cent), which is made by adding 2.5kgs of fresh oranges to the brew, Horsham Hog's Pudding will be on tap in pubs across Sussex, including the Evening Star in Brighton.
