Lewes manager Steven King branded his side's performance against Bishop's Stortford as the worst since he took over.
The Rooks lost 4-1 at the Dripping Pan after trailing 3-0 at half-time to goals from Steve Morison, Paul Hakim and Tim Langer.
Morison put the game beyond doubt a minute after the interval with his second, before Marc Whiteman netted a consolation on 71 minutes.
King said: "We were shocking and it was easily the worst we have played during my time as manager.
"It was a bad day at the office which we are allowed from time to time and I'm just hoping it was a one-off."
Meanwhile, Ade Bankole has become the third player to be shown the door by Lewes as part of the club's cost-cutting exercise.
The former Crewe goalkeeper, who was part of Nigeria's 23-man squad for the 2002 World Cup in Japan and South Korea, follows Dwain Clarke and Warren Haughton out of the Dripping Pan.
Bankole, who is currently sidelined with a finger injury, joined Lewes in the summer and has made 16 appearances for the Rooks.
