Geri Halliwell is to be applauded for sparing the time to meet her fans at Brighton's Western Road branch of Woolworths (The Argus, November 23).
She happily posed for photographs with fans, many of whom had been queuing since lunchtime. There was a crowd of 200 to see her.
Brighton is the only place Geri visited to sign copies of her new single, Ride It. She used to come here as a child, sitting on the beach and playing with the pebbles.
Well done to Geri for spending time with her fans. Other celebrities should take note.
