Worthing midfielder Owen Hill is likely to miss the rest of the season.
The former Whitehawk player has been out since September when he suffered an ankle injury against Salisbury.
He sustained the injury following a dreadful two-footed challenge by Salisbury's Steve Strong, who received a straight red card.
The Rebels were hoping to have Hill back soon but the injury has not responded to treatment.
Now Hill must wear a calliper and is having a course of injections which could sideline him for the remainder of the campaign.
Des Guile has also been ruled out for the season with a calf problem sustained while playing for Peacehaven.
Mark Pulling misses tomorrow's FA Trophy game at home to Southern League division one west leaders Mangotsfield after he had an operation on an ingrowing toe nail.
Manager Alan Pook knows the strength of tomorrow's opponents. He said: "Peter Edwards has watched them for us. They are a very good side and I expect them to get promoted this season."
