A new director has been appointed to head a company which supports small businesses.
The Enterprise Agency, which serves Brighton, Hove and Lewes, named Dr Robin Arak as director and he will fill the role of chief executive when he takes up the post in the new year.
Dr Arak said: "It is essential for the small business community that the agency continues to provide an excellent standard of support to businesses in Brighton, Hove and Lewes.
"This is central to ensuring they become, and remain, an important part of the local economy."
He is currently chief executive of Ukerna, a company which supports the UK's education and research network for universities and colleges.
