Hastings United began life after Steve Lovell with a crushing defeat at Dulwich Hamlet.
Lovell resigned as manager on Saturday so his former assistant Vince Moorton, with the help of chairman Dave Walters, took charge of the team.
Hastings got off to a bright start and only a timely intervention prevented Carl Rook from setting up strike partner Chris Honey in the first minute.
Dulwich gradually began to take control and only a couple of fine saves by Greg Nessling prevented them from taking the lead.
The deadlock was finally broken on the hour mark when Charley Side beat the onrushing Nessling to a through ball.
Five minutes later Wade Falana scored with a well struck shot and soon after claimed his second. Side completed his double with a half volley late on.
