With reference to Laurie Keen's article (Weekend, November 6), the last remaining Brighton Corporation Tramways standard can now be found (but not on public display) at Amberley Museum in West Sussex.
It was removed from Dyke Road a few years ago but is pictured, in situ, opposite the Dyke Tavern in "Tramways Remembered - South And South East England" by Leslie Oppitz.
Although the standard is not on view, two tram shelters can been seen, preserved and in use in association with the bus and railway services at the museum, which will re-open on March 16.
