The campaigners who lost their fight to keep a main post office open in central Hove are delighted that Taylors of Hove is now going to open a new sub-post office in the area (The Argus, November 4).
It will undergo a refit to provide three post office counters and there will be a fourth for parcels and retail services.
The owners, Sanjiv and Pinkal Patel, are expecting to open the new branch in January.
The new branch will ease the pressure on the smaller post office in Blatchington Road.
It is very good of Mr and Mrs Patel to provide this vital service to the local community, who will hope it proves to be successful for all parties concerned.
