Does David Broughton (Letters, October 28) really believe he would like to live in a socialist republic like Cuba?
He should go and see how the poorer people of Cuba live, check out the supermarkets and the (supposed) freedom that the Cubans have.
Does he really think that life under Blair as a dictator would be the life to enjoy? If so, I suggest he goes to Cuba and takes Blair with him.
Our Royal Family is the envy of the world. It would be a very bad move to even think of getting rid of them.
