I have never felt the need to write to any paper to complain but what Dr Delvin has written about ME could not be further from the truth.

It is a well-known fact to ME sufferers that the memory and thinking ability is severely impacted when you have ME and articles such as Dr Delvin's cause so much distress to sufferers.

I also find it quite alarming that a Sussex GP either does not know about the Sussex ME/CFS Society or has not thought it necessary to read the 2004 ME guide, written by Dr Charles Shepherd, the top ME doctor in the UK, which the society has sent to all surgeries in the UK.
