Worthing ended a run of three successive league defeats with a battling 2-1 victory over Yeading.

A superb goal from Liam Collins 15 minutes from time gave Rebels a much needed win.

Yeading took the lead on 34 minutes with DJ Campbell cashing in on some sloppy defending to poke the ball in from six yards.

But Worthing hit back on 66 minutes when Matt Russell netted with an overhead kick after keeper Delroy Preddie had missed a cross from the right by Mark Pulling.

Rebels grabbed the points in fine style with Collins beating Preddie with a low shot after seizing on to a crossfield ball by Stewart Holmes and then beating three players.
