When will Brighton and Hove City Council planners stop interfering with the few special places we have left. It's because North Laine looks as it does that it's so popular.
The council wouldn't hesitate to stick a huge block of affordable (that means ugly) housing smack in the middle of this wonderful area if it could find a big enough space.
Ask our residents about the new buildings stuffed into every nook and cranny. The council doesn't care about its once lovely and peaceful character.
If we don't vote the current busy bodies out in the next election, we'll deserve all we get. Tactical voting is called for here.
