What gives Jean Calder the right to be paid for producing a piece which has very little foundation in truth?
She admits she has had "very little contact with the ruling class". Who on earth does she mean?
Citing the fictitious Tristram would have us all believe that anyone who has attended a public school thinks he is superior to anyone else.
The truth is that he has had an education superior by far to anything that the state can or will ever provide, as it refuses to put sufficient money towards raising standards in education.
Clearly, Ms Calder has become someone one could describe as an inverted snob. My experience of those individuals who have been blessed with a top-class education has always been nothing other than absolute pleasure.
History explains how the reputation of the English gentleman was internationally respected, his word was his bond. Ms Calder goes on to criticise the appearance of the young men with "floppy hair, striped shirts and tweed jackets". I presume, therefore, she prefers a shaved head, a vest and tattoos.
What does she mean by "braying accents"? I suppose she prefers an inarticulate mumbling which sounds like a combination of a New York Italian gangster, Ali G and a character from EastEnders.
I wonder what Dr Anthony Seldon's opinion would be on Ms Calder's spleen venting? Most importantly, I wish to inform her that money has absolutely nothing to do with class, which is something money cannot buy, in the same way money can buy sex but never true love.
As for the subject of violence, I would invite Ms Calder to rent a flat in the centre of some of Britain's poorest estates for her to listen to the commonly-used phrase "give 'er a slap", whether she be a child or an adult.
