The panic in the pro-hunting lobby is very puzzling.
They can have their "sport" without ripping foxes to pieces. They can "drag" hunt.
So no hounds need to be killed - although they do that anyway to those without the "blood-lust".
This is about the right to be sadistic, arrogant, backward-thinking and power-struck. And we do not want a mediaeval monarchy.
