I was at a friend's birthday party in 1993 when I collapsed with sudden adult death syndrome. If it hadn't been for two other guests, Dr Tate and another doctor, giving me CPR until the ambulance arrived, I would not have had an extra 11 years to enjoy my family and friends and see my grandchildren born. I cannot thank them enough for this gift of life.
