Whatever you think of the debacle of the security breach in the House of Commons, it is time to get realistic.

In the Eighties, the miners were annihilated in Margaret Thatcher's personal crusade against the unions.

Now, however, there are far worse threats - the Countryside Alliance, pensioners (the grey army) and council tax activists. These will turn the Labour party's conference to mayhem - preparations are well advanced.

The point is these are ordinary people demonstrating to survive in a world where their incomes are being taken away by the state.

The battle lines are already drawn. This time, however, the state will lose and the people will have their way.

Politicians, take note. You are attacking middle England and the establishment. It will not be allowed to happen.
