Hundreds of Capital One credit card customers may have been left without a card this month following an error by the group, it emerged yesterday.
A production delay at Capital One led to people with cards which expired at the end of July not being sent new ones until the 29th of the month. It is thought hundreds of cardholders have been affected.
The new cards were sent out just two days before the old ones expired and dispatched by second-class post.
The problem comes at the height of the holiday season and many people may not receive their new card before they go away.
