I was pleased to see Clint Eastwood and Steven Spielberg were considering making a film of James Bradley's book Flags Of Our Fathers by James Bradley (The Argus, July 13).
James's father was one of three survivors of the six men who raised the second American flag on Iwo Jima.
The other two were Rene Gagnon and the Pima Indian Ira Hayes, whose story was so wonderfully depicted by Tony Curtis in the film The Outsider.
