Kuju Brighton, the computer games developer, has signed a deal with a major publishing house to work on a new title.
The company, previously known as Wide Games, has begun work on a prototype title for Sony Computer Entertainment Europe.
Kuju, which acquired Wide Games last month for an undisclosed sum, is now working with four major international publishers, including Nintendo, and developing titles for Activision and Konami.
The company, based in Old Steine, is also working on a high-profile Playstation 2 title. Its back catalogue includes Lotus Challenge, Reign Of Fire and Fireblade.
The AIM-listed company's headquarters is in Godalming, Surrey, and it has offices in Brighton and development sites in London and Sheffield.
The Brighton office is headed by Ed Daly, co-founder and former managing director of Wide Games.
