I was lucky enough to be invited to see Abba - The Symphony played by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra at the Brighton Dome.
I thought the music was beautiful. The entire event was a superb experience and I am very pleased to have had the opportunity to go.
However, I was surprised and disappointed that much of the audience turned up wearing jeans, shorts and T-shirts. I would have thought it would be basic respect for people to at least make some attempt to look smart for such an occasion.
I am a member of the under-20 age group, often chastised as inconsiderate and rude. If my friends and I can show this common courtesy, I feel other people can too.
In an era when trousers and shirts are actually cheaper than football kits and baseball caps, nobody has any excuse not to look their best for our most talented visitors.
