Like Joy Linford, I visited Portslade cemetery on Friday, June 4, to pay my respects to my late husband and granddaughter's grave, just a few steps away from those war graves.
I wrote to The Argus a few years ago about the sorry state of these graves and you looked into it. I will admit that they now have a few plants on them but surely a gardener could be spared for a few minutes to keep them weeded and watered? I bet those in Brighton are looked after.
