I am writing a book about the author and broadcaster SPB Mais, who spent much of his life in Sussex, staying at addresses in Hove, Southwick and Lindfield.
Mr Mais - or "SPB" as he was known to millions of listeners - wrote 300 books and shot to fame during the Second World War, when he broadcast a breakfast programme called Kitchen Front.
I would be delighted to hear from anyone who enjoyed his books and broadcasts or who has information about the last dozen years of his life (Mais died in April 1975). Everyone who writes to me will receive a reply. Thank you.
