With another huge rise in council tax for Brighton and Hove pending (The Argus, November 29), are residents just supposed to grin and bear it?

Our three MPs all deny government responsibility for the shortfall in funding and Labour councillors have the nerve to accept a large increase in allowances.

The only sure way to let the Government know we are not fools is to vote for other parties in the forthcoming Euro elections because, when it comes down to it, politicians only sit up and listen when they get hit at the polling booth.
