A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a Latvian man found dead at a home in Bognor.

Sigitas Barcas, 30, of Albert Road, Bognor, is accused of killing the 41-year-old on Sunday morning.

Ambulance crews found a body at a house in Hawthorn Road.

A post-mortem examination revealed the dead man sustained head injuries, although police have not said how they were inflicted.

Barcas appeared at Chichester Magistrates' Court yesterday and the case was committed to Lewes Crown Court.
