In response to Chris (The Vicar) Pop Idol's mum (The Argus, December 8), I tried about 30 times to text for him.
I voted for him every week. Unfortunately my mobile kept coming up with "message not received".
I tried and tried again all evening but the lines must have been so busy.
I also tried to vote for Michelle and the same thing happened. I think the most popular ones' lines were so busy they couldn't receive the votes.
That must have been the reason for Chris not getting through. He did so well and I'm sure he will be a big star with a big voice.
