The Brighton and Hove City Council proposal to extend restricted parking in zone C to "eliminate border parking problems" could make yours the new border problem area if you live in one of the following streets:

Sussex Street, Elmore Road, Tarner Road, Tilbury Way, Windmill Street, Stanley Street, Queens Park Road, Richmond Street, Montreal Road, Toronto Terrace, St Luke's Road, St Luke's Terrace, Freshfield Street or Queens Park Rise.

You could have twice the problem, becoming both the nearest streets for American Express employees to park in freely and also the nearest free parking for visitors to Queens Park, many of whom will not want to pay to park around the perimeter of the park when free parking is available in your streets.

It will affect you but you won't have had a consultation form because you are outside the area in which the new restrictions apply.

Complain to your councillor or write directly to the council before it's too late.

Demand that your views be taken into consideration.
