Lewes winger Peter Adeniyi will start a two-week trial with Crystal Palace on Monday.

Adeniyi, 21, has been in scintillating form for the Rooks since signing from Dulwich Hamlet in the summer.

Manager Steven King said: "When he takes people on, he goes past them like they weren't there. There have been a lot of scouts watching us this season and it was inevitable that a club would come in for someone."

Adeniyi is on contract at the Dripping Pan, which means Lewes could ask for a transfer fee.

Luke Fontana, second top scorer with ten goals this season, has left the Rooks although King would not reveal why. Defender David Soutar has also been told he is free to find another club while goalkeeper Russell Tanner has gone on loan to Hailsham.

Marc Whiteman and Justin Harris are fit again after injuries and are in the squad for tomorrow's FA Trophy trip to Dr Martens League western division side Cinderford Town.

Bognor boss Jack Pearce is ready to throw defender David Wright in at the deep end at Weston-Super-Mare even though he missed the best part of last season through injury.

Albion loanee Chris Breach is unavailable for the FA Trophy tie and John Price is out after an operation to remove a mole from his arm left him with 24 stitches.
