The Argus (November 21) had a beautiful picture of a beach and town in Manly (formerly Brighton) in Aussie land (where the England rugby team was staying).

Except the town looked awful because of a single, 17-storey, landmark building in the middle of the waterfront.

This building is totally out of keeping with the remainder of the town.

Do we need to follow the ideas of Australian architects in Brighton, England?

Can we transport some of Brighton, England's, architects to "Brighton", Australia, so they could rest in the shade of a block of flats for the remainder of their days?
