I went to all the trouble of carving Gollum from Lord Of The Rings to stand in my windowsill, bought bags of mini sweets and decorated the front door because last year I was inundated with little ghosts, devils and demons knocking on the door and ran out of treats.
Wouldn't you know it? This year I only had two.
Oh well, it was fun making the pumpkin anyway.
