Cocaine with an estimated street value of £840,000 was found hidden in luggage at Gatwick.
Customs officers discovered 14 kilos of the class-A drug concealed inside two suitcases.
Customs spokesman Shona Lowe said: "Customs vigilance has prevented it from reaching its destination. We will continue to work to reduce the availability of class A drugs."
Two men from St Lucia are being questioned by police.
