An elderly woman plunged to her death after leaning out of her third-floor window.
Winifred Rowe, 87, died as she was being taken in an ambulance to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton.
Emergency services were called to Leahurst Court Road, Brighton, on Saturday.
Neighbours said Mrs Rowe had a habit of leaning out of the window.
Police said there were no suspicious circumstances and an inquest would be held.
