Bumbling DJ Alan Partridge is set for a return to the small screen.
The man behind the legend, Hove comedian Steve Coogan, had said the Radio Norwich host would not return after last year's series of I'm Alan Partridge.
But he has had a change of heart.
He said: "Not this year - but I haven't buried him completely. I enjoy doing him.
"There won't be a series - I'm too involved doing behind the scenes things - but I'd definitely do specials."
Partridge, who started life as a sports reporter on Radio 4's On The Hour, has proved to be the comedian's most-enduring character but Coogan has recently been filming a big budget adaptation of Around The World In 80 Days as Phileas Fogg.
