I find it disturbing to read "Councils face big bill for inquires" (The Argus, August 11).
Will the councillors who made this decision be at any time surchargeable?
It seems Brighton and Hove City Council prefers to financially support the construction of mass burn waste incinerators, covering planning costs and compulsory purchase of land with great care.
Yet it does not do the same for the Albion's construction of a community stadium.
Given the council's dire financial situation, I find it incompetent and disgraceful that an agreement of this kind could be reached to support a profit making waste company.
