Brighton and Hove Amnesty International would like to thank the 517 people at Gay Pride on Saturday who flocked to our stall to sign a petition about the persecution of gay men in Egypt.
Four-hundred also signed a petition about a gay journalist imprisoned and tortured in Uzbekistan, as well as signing other letters and postcards.
It was a truly amazing experience, meeting so many lovely people and basking in glorious sunshine.
At the end of the day we found that £102.05 had been crammed into our collecting tin.
