I wonder what would happen if the top management of our supermarket industry, who have made such a flying success over the past 30 years, were to be given the NHS to run and the top management in the NHS were given our supermarkets to run.
My guess is the NHS would noticeably improve year on year and the supermarkets would quickly revert back to the original 400,000 corner shops to complement our present abundance of Victorian hospitals.
