R White of Portslade (Letters, July 24) is lucky because one of the Portslade councillors is Sue John, the deputy leader of the council, responsible for culture and tourism.
Why not contact Coun John at Ivor Caplin's Office in Hove Town Hall, or knock on her door, and tell her of the problems you have experienced.
It is important to inform people in authority face to face. It is the only way to get results.
