Sussex League: Horsham are aiming to score an elusive first home win and rekindle their outside chances of the title.

Scott Stratton's side take on Three Bridges at Cricket Field Road knowing a maximum points haul could take them second in the table.

They were in great form last week when they won at Bridges but have been beaten in their two home games to date, by Steyning and East Grinstead.

A host of top line players return to the side for tomorrow's Shepherd Neame League clash but skipper Stratton admits that is no guarantee of success.

He said: "We gave played with weakened sides this season and won which is a good sign. We are still not out of the title race but it will be very hard to challenge Hastings unless they do something desperately wrong."

Nick Creed returns to strengthen the Bridges attack while Ian Church replaces his brother Mark in the middle order.

Leaders Hastings had a comfortable win at rock- bottom Stirlands last week and the ominous news for the return game is that they are looking even stronger.

Tim van Noort and Nick Wilton are back in the side and Mike Yardy's exclusion from the Sussex squad should mean he plays as well.

Bas Zuiderent is available for a Brighton and Hove side who have moved into second spot helped by three successive five-wicket hauls for Andy Sartor. They may not find the going too easy at Chichester however.

Eastbourne face a selection dilemma at the top of the order for the trip to Worthing as Paul Stevens and Alex Simcox return.

By contrast Worthing are without Chris Mansell, who took seven wickets last week, and strike bowler Anthony Aduhene.

Steyning will hope to have Paul Hutchison back for the home clash with East Grinstead.
