A run-down farmhouse has been turned into a pub after undergoing a £500,000 facelift.
The Farmhouse has been built around the derelict 150-year-old building in Purbeck Avenue, West Durrington, near Worthing.
The Chapman Group has converted the building into a pub and restaurant.
Landlord David Pettit said: "At the core of the building is the old farmhouse but we have also extended it."
Adjacent wasteland has also been turned into a pub garden and there are plans for a pond.
Mr Pettit said: "We have tried to retain the building's traditional character and we have also kept the name, The Farmhouse.
"We have had very positive feedback from people who said they were pleased the building has been put to good use."
