Food lovers are being invited to nominate their favourite places to eat food from the Worthing area.
The first 100 entries in the county-wide Good Taste Award will receive the Seasoned West Sussex guide, which is full of local recipes.
The Good Taste Award, which will be awarded to the best restaurant, tea room and pub, has been launched by West Sussex County Council, Sussex Life magazine and Taste of the South East (TOSE), a Government-funded organisation promoting local food and drink producers and retailers.
Sue Scott, of TOSE, said: "There's plenty of choice because of the wealth of products sourced or grown locally."
Nominations should go to Alison Musk, Communications Unit, County Hall, Chichester, by August 31, and should specify whether it is a pub, restaurant or tea room.
