I am not a cyclist and go everywhere by car but surely Mr Lee must have seen the bike ride signs as he travelled around Brighton prior to the event?
If his journey was only going to take 15 minutes, why didn't he either leave his car at home and walk or, if that wasn't an option, take a different route?
