East Sussex League: Victor Walcott ripped in with six wickets as Crowhurst Park returned to winning ways in the top-of-the-table clash with Chiddingly.
The West Indian fast bowler claimed 6-45 to secure a maximum points win and condemn Chiddingly to their first defeat of the summer.
Having lost to lowly Herstmonceux the previous week, Park were bidding to bounce straight back but it was not looking good at 61-4 as Zubin Bhettay (3-46) made inroads.
However, Walcott (27) steadied the ship and Richard Coleman added 33 not out in an unbeaten last wicket stand of 45 with Graham Corke which helped them post a total of 167-9.
Andy Samuels hit 33 in reply but Chiddingly were in trouble at 90-5. Skipper Tom Carr (25) joined Samuels to add 46 but Walcott then returned to the attack to grab four wickets without troubling the scoreboard and, after a brief flurry, he picked up the final wicket in the penultimate over andChiddingly were all out for 148.
