It is not only supermarkets that are selling the latest Harry Potter adventure at reduced prices (Letters, June 21).
Methvens, WH Smith, Sussex Stationers and The Works are offering copies for £9.99 and I doubt the book can be purchased any cheaper.
Human nature being what it is, I am sure children and their parents will go for the cheapest anyway, whether it's the supermarkets or an independent book retailer.
