Manypeople will sadly identify with the suffering endured by Keir Cracknell and his family at the hands of their nightmare neighbour.
Nicholas Formosa played loud music into the early hours and magistrates heard that he also stamped on the floor, moved furniture and was abusive.
In short, he made their lives a misery and forced them to endure a court case after pleading not guilty to harassment, a charge he has now been convicted of.
Now, he faces eviction and received a 12-month conditional discharge and £100 fine.
People who torment their neighbours with loud music are an absolute menace.
Their victims are unable to sleep, their health and work suffers and, as many are trapped in long tenancy agreements, home can become more like a prison.
Thankfully, the court recognised this and hopefully Mr Cracknell and his family will now, finally, be able to enjoy the peace they deserve.
