Teachers have got themselves in a right flap over some unwelcome newcomers in their school grounds.
The pupils at St Mark's CoE School in Manor Farm, Brighton, were given the off yesterday when some nesting seagulls went into attack mode to defend their newly-hatched chicks.
Headteacher Sharie Coombes decided her playground was not big enough for the both of them and expelled the naughty gulls.
The birds might have ruffled a few feathers but their dismissal should certainly have taught them a lesson.
