It is quite obvious the terms and conditions the University of Brighton is trying to impose on the Albion are simply not in the best interests of the city of Brighton and Hove, the club nor their respective residents or supporters.
Bear in mind this is for a permanent home and any deal which involves financial risk to any party has to be right, from the start, to ensure stability for future generations of users of the stadium.
There is no way the current directors are going to risk the future, when we all know so well the damage done by their predecessors in taking financial gambles.
Thank heavens the current board is now in place.
