Girls Aloud, winners of hit TV show Popstars: The Rivals, are the latest to join a host of acts for the biggest party of the summer.
They will bring the Sound Of The Underground to Brighton's Party in the Park on Sunday June 22.
Nadine Coyle, Cheryl Tweedy, Sarah Harding, Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts stormed the UK chart scene with their debut single, reaching number one at Christmas.
The combat trousered, high-heeled girl band will use the Brighton pop fest in Preston Park as a warm-up to their headlining tour later this year.
It replaces the doomed spring tour with their male counterparts One True Voice which was cancelled due to poor ticket sales.
However, the girls are confident they can make it on their own. Nadine said: "It feels just like we have taken our stabilisers off - and it feels great."
