Motorcycling angler Philip Clarke has completed his mission to catch a trout in Northern Ireland, Scotland, England and Wales within 24 hours.
He carried out the challenge to raise money for cancer charities despite setbacks.
Philip, 42, from South Avenue, Hurstpierpoint, travelled 1,100 miles during the mammoth test of his fishing and riding skills in memory of his mother, Rosanonde, who died of cancer.
The challenge began at 4am at Straid fishery in Northern Ireland on Friday.
The first trout was in the bag within just 15 minutes, thanks largely to the on-hand advice of the UK's top fly fisherman, Campbell Baird.
This allowed Philip plenty of time to ride his Triumph Trophy 1200 to catch the 7.30am ferry from Larne to Cairn Ryan, in Scotland.
In Scotland, Philip faced his first crisis when he smashed his rod after a bike accident but he managed to borrow another.
A trip along the A75 and down the M6 took Philip to his third port of call, Wych Elm fishery at Holme in Cumbria.
The last trout was landed at 9pm in at Llandegla Trout Fishery, west of Wrexham in north Wales, 17 hours after Philip had cast his first fly.
