Granddad George Harris is so impressed by socks made by H and J Hall he made a 700-mile round trip from Wales to Worthing to buy some.
The 87-year-old knows the importance of looking after your feet from his days as a soldier, when reliable footwear was essential to protect against infections.
So if anyone thinks he's barmy for travelling so far to clad his size 12s, they should put a sock in it.
